Hundreds of Pokémon trading cards were reportedly stolen from a FedEx van in Southern California while it was parked and the driver was away. Two pallets of trading cards were taken, along with numerous soccer cards. The estimated value of the Pokémon cards was more than $960,000, although police said the exact value had not yet been determined.

The company that shipped the pallets deactivated the certificates for the stolen cards and notified major resale platforms about the missing items, particularly rare and valuable cards, so they could watch for them being offered for sale.
