Piet Smolders said that images from the new Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope would be unimaginable. He also said estimates had changed: the Milky Way may contain about 400 billion stars, while the universe may contain perhaps 2 trillion similar systems, rather than the lower figures he had cited several years earlier.
