Peters Construction Group from Middelburg has taken over construction company Van de Linde from Goes and acquired an interest in Rijk Groep from Heinkenszand. The moves reportedly create one of the largest contractors in Zeeland.

The group said the expansion would help it handle major competitors from outside Zeeland, adding that the challenges facing the sector made cooperation necessary.
