The drawbridge between Giekwerf and Pinaskade in the De Leyens district of Zoetermeer is set to be permanently replaced. Work is expected to begin this autumn after earlier delays. Earlier this year, local residents and the municipality of Zoetermeer were involved in a dispute because residents did not want the bridge replaced during the summer.
