Kenyan marathon runner Peres Jepchirchir, the Olympic champion at Tokyo 2020 and 2025 world champion, was provisionally suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit after traces of EPO were found in her blood ahead of the Sydney Marathon, which she won on 30 August. She is 33.
