Paul Elstak, 60, looks back on more than three decades as a hardcore DJ and producer in the PowNed documentary *Hard*. The documentary presents him as a leading figure in the rise of the Dutch hardcore scene and addresses how his career affected his personal life, including the end of two marriages.

Elstak says he now maintains a better balance between work and private life. He says he is happy with his current girlfriend and hopes this will be his final relationship.
