Patty Brard and the Stoptober Support team, joined by Dutch public figures including kickboxer Remy Bonjasky, were at Velperplein in Arnhem on Tuesday to support smokers who wanted to quit. The event was held as part of Stoptober, the October campaign involving hundreds of thousands of people in the Netherlands. The campaign promoted stopping smoking, with Brard saying that only oxygen belongs in the lungs and Bonjasky urging people not to damage their bodies.
