FC Porto midfielder Pablo Rosario looked forward to facing his former club PSV. Rosario made his breakthrough at PSV before moving to OGC Nice in 2021, and he was set to encounter former friends there. He later reunited at FC Porto with Francesco Farioli, whom he had previously worked with at Nice. Rosario was described as an important link for the Portuguese club and, although a former Netherlands international, was playing internationally for the Dominican Republic.
