More than 150 organisations supported a Red Line demonstration planned for Sunday 8 November at Museumplein in Amsterdam. Organisers said the protest was aimed at what they saw as insufficient government action against Israeli violence in Gaza, while the municipality expected a large turnout and planned closures and adjusted bus and tram services.
