Sea freight transhipment at the ports of Vlissingen, Terneuzen and Ghent increased in the third quarter, North Sea Port reported. Companies at North Sea Port handled 17.2 million tonnes of maritime freight during the quarter.

The port operator said drought had only a limited effect on shipping transhipment.
