Train services between Hoofddorp and Leiden Centraal were suspended on Thursday morning because of engineering works. Replacement stopping buses ran via Nieuw-Vennep and Sassenheim, and passengers were warned to allow extra travel time.

Services had resumed by about 07:16, earlier than the initially indicated end time of 08:00.
