A maximum speed of 30 kilometers per hour has been in place for a month on 60 roads in Nijmegen, including the Berg and Dalseweg. The reduction from 50 km/h was intended to make traffic safer for cyclists, but it was reported that motorists were generally not complying with the new limit.
