The A50 is scheduled to be closed in sections during evenings and nights from Monday 19 October through Friday 30 October while Rijkswaterstaat carries out road maintenance and other work, including mowing grass, removing litter, checking and maintaining road signs, cleaning joints and repairing garages and other reported damage. The closures are planned after 9 p.m., when traffic is quieter, and slip roads and exits may close up to one hour earlier. Road users should allow for diversions and extra travel time.

The affected sections are, successively: Ekkersweijer–Son en Breugel towards Veghel on the night of 19–20 October; Son en Breugel–Best-West towards ’s-Hertogenbosch on 20–21 October; Veghel (N279)–Son en Breugel towards Eindhoven on 21–22 October; Helmond–Veghel towards ’s-Hertogenbosch on 22–23 October; Paalgraven–Veghel (N279) towards Eindhoven on 26–27 October; Veghel (N279)–Paalgraven towards Arnhem from 9 p.m. on 27 October until 9 p.m. on 28 October; Paalgraven–Bankhoef towards Arnhem on 28–29 October; and Bankhoef–Paalgraven towards Eindhoven on 29–30 October. Most closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
