Nicole Eestermans hopes to celebrate the 70th anniversary of her hair salon in Moerdijk in 2028, where her father started the business in 1958. She took over the salon in 1994 and lives in the house where she was born, with family members living nearby.

Her plans depend on the future of the village, which she said the municipality had indicated must disappear. Nicole said a new alternative from the government could allow residents to stay and that she is confident the plan will be abandoned. The situation remains uncertain, however, with the only clarity being that there is no clarity.
