Nicolaas Veul, 42, reacted angrily and emotionally to statements by Douwe Filz, director of the Renaissance School in Almere. Filz believes children should not be taught about the lhbti community.

Veul said during the talk show Renze that the statements affected him deeply and that they did not make him feel good.
