Nicky Romero, the artist name of Nick Rotteveel, appeared as one of the first DJs on SLAM! during the Amsterdam Dance Event. In a conversation with SLAM! presenter Anoûl Hendriks, he discussed plans with Bram Krikke for a possible reality show and a secret WhatsApp group of DJs founded by Armin van Buuren. Romero said that many conversations in the group remain confidential and effectively go to the grave.

Armin van Buuren, Don Diablo, Sam Feldt, Nicky Romero and Oliver Heldens are among the first artists announced for Slam!’s ADE MixMarathon. The radio station said the DJs will perform live sets during the Amsterdam Dance Event, with more than 40 artists expected in total.
