New Mexico lawsuit against Jeffrey Epstein’s former lawyer and accountant

New Mexico filed a civil lawsuit against Jeffrey Epstein’s former lawyer, Darren Indyke, and accountant, Richard Kahn, alleging that they helped enable and conceal his sexual exploitation and should not profit from his estate. State prosecutor Raúl Torrez said they must have known about the abuse and pointed to payments of up to $3 million to women abused by Epstein.
Indyke and Kahn deny having known about Epstein’s conduct; their lawyer said neither man has been accused of sexual abuse or of witnessing it. The case is linked to alleged abuse at Epstein’s Zorro Ranch in New Mexico. A separate state investigation into possible crimes at the ranch remains ongoing and has produced no charges.
