Grid operator Enexis built a new type of electricity distribution station in Ulrum within seven months. The installation is intended to ease grid congestion in Het Hogeland and Ulrum and the surrounding area.

The new station allows homes and businesses to be removed from the waiting list for an electricity connection. One report said rapid construction depends on government cooperation.
