Sinterklaas is due to arrive by steamboat in Grave, in the municipality of Land van Cuijk, for the national arrival. Mayor Marieke Moorman is to welcome him at the Maas quay, with performances by children and local associations along the route. The broadcaster selected Grave for its historic centre, central market square and space on the Meuse to berth the vessel.
