Visma-Lease a Bike appointed former rider Nathan Van Hooydonck as its new sports director, succeeding Jacco Verhaeren. The 30-year-old Belgian will lead the team’s sporting management and be responsible for its sporting direction. Van Hooydonck rode for the team from 2021 until 2023, when he ended his active career after heart problems, including a cardiac arrest in traffic.
