NAM applied to renew permits for its reserve wastewater-injection sites in Rossum, Twente, while it pumps oil again in Schoonebeek, Drenthe. The company intends to inject chemically contaminated wastewater from that operation elsewhere rather than into the former Rossum-Weerselo gas field, but wants to retain the Twente wells for the time being.
