The municipality reportedly wants to withdraw penalty payments of €100,000 imposed on animal feed producer ABZ in Markelo. The decision followed a long-running dispute over overproduction and odour nuisance. The municipality said there was now a concrete prospect of legalising ABZ’s business activities.
