A total of 308 tiger mosquitoes were reported this year at 40 locations across the Netherlands, more than 100 above the number recorded in each of the previous two years. Most of the finds were in Lent near Nijmegen and in Zevenaar. Residents have been asked to help combat the mosquitoes.
