Mohamed’s stay in Wageningen after the reception in Epe

Mohamed, 28, is reported to have been staying at the asylum seekers’ centre in Wageningen for more than six months. In May, he was among 260 refugees received at the Fletcher Hotel in Epe, where residents called out that they did not want asylum seekers there. Staff called Mohamed and others inside because emotions outside had become too intense and it was not safe. His experience in Wageningen is described as different, prompting him to wonder whether there were still such good people in the world.
