Enexis installed five mobile battery containers at De Wijer in Reusel in a trial intended to relieve pressure on the local electricity grid during periods of high winter demand. The batteries have a combined capacity of 1.75 megawatts, which Enexis said is comparable to the electricity use of about 1,000 households, and are intended to reduce the risk of outages for local households and businesses.
