Around 125 soldiers are scheduled to patrol Leiderdorp and Oud Ade on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October. They will practise guarding important buildings and facilities, patrolling, identifying suspicious situations and responding to various incidents. Shots may sound like gunfire during the two-day exercise.

Residents and visitors may encounter soldiers in the streets or near guarded buildings. The exercise was announced by the Ministry of Defence and the two municipalities involved.
