Mayor Bouke Arends of Westland personally moved a Ukrainian family from what was described as distressing housing at a gardener’s property to a hotel in Ter Heijde. During an emotional speech in the municipal council on Wednesday evening, the housing of 147 Ukrainian workers at the same gardener’s property was also discussed.
