Since the previous Monday, online stores have been able to switch to Wero, a European successor to the Dutch payment platform. Dutch retailers had earlier expressed concern that it would become significantly more expensive, but CEO Martina Weimert reportedly appeared unimpressed by that concern and called the cost discussion “a little strange.”
