Self-appointed nature guide Marc Maas continued to oppose what was described as radical work by the Scheldt Water Board in the Kruispolder near Hulst. To obtain legal consideration of his objections before the Council of State, he argued that he lived not only in Vogelwaard but also in a tent in the Kruispolder.
