MAN CEO Alexander Vlaskamp said hydrogen had no future in road freight transport, arguing that electric trucks were more efficient and much cheaper to operate. He said the future of the transport sector lay in electrification.
Vlaskamp also said Brussels needed to take a more generous approach to emissions targets to make zero-emission road transport feasible for entrepreneurs.
