Sonja Zijlstra closed her lunchroom in Purmerend because she said operating without electricity was not possible. She later found that Liander had not needed to disconnect the electricity. Zijlstra said she lost a full day’s turnover and still had to pay two employees, and is seeking compensation from the network operator.
