A monitor found that acceptance of lesbian and gay people had not increased over the previous two years, while acceptance of transgender, non-binary and intersex people had declined slightly. It also reported that LGBTIQA+ people, particularly non-binary, intersex and queer people, experience lower well-being, more mental-health complaints and more suicidal thoughts. More than a third of respondents did not regard trans women as women.
