Low-stimulation events become more common

◆1 source

Flashing lights and loud music at fairgrounds and amusement parks reportedly cause headaches and stress for some overstimulated adults and young people, making them reluctant to attend outings. Museums, attractions and zoos are responding by regularly offering low-stimulation periods with reduced lighting and sound, including an event at Artis on Thursday evening and one at the Nijmegen fair on Saturday.
