Karin Lambrechts, 59, once wanted to become a mayor and used to be active from early morning until late evening. She now says long covid has made working impossible, with her energy lasting for up to three hours a day. The forthcoming cuts from The Hague frustrate her, particularly when she thinks about younger people and how they will cope.
