Lester Bijkerk’s best friend Stan was 18 when he learned that he had a rare brain tumor. Stan died last year at the age of 25, more than five years after his diagnosis. Before his death, the two were able to make a dream trip to the Rugby World Cup in England, which Bijkerk described as a miracle and a farewell.
