On World Stuttering Day, SP leader Leoni Lukens spoke to children at Stotterkamp in Groningen about her experiences with stuttering. Lukens, who is from Pekela, said it had affected her youth and that there were times when she did not say anything at all. She also described how she eventually found the strength to speak.

About 6,000 people in Groningen are estimated to stutter.
