Lelystad man faces eviction after further nuisance

A man in Lelystad who was given a final chance by housing foundation Centrada in July still has to leave his home. Under the July agreement, he was to remain under Centrada’s supervision for two years, but the foundation said he had caused further nuisance at the Botter. Two days before a court hearing, a fight broke out outside his home between a visitor and two men who had wanted to enter. The man said he did not become involved and called the police; his lawyer said this showed he was trying to prevent problems.

Centrada also referred to an alleged theft from a shed three weeks after the previous hearing, which the man denied. The foundation said he had breached the behavioural agreement and that several incidents had occurred. The court in Lelystad decided that the eviction planned for the following Thursday could proceed. The reasoning for the decision was to follow later because the ruling was delivered at short notice.
