Platform Safe Enterprise North Holland launched the “What you see, matters” campaign in Haarlem and distributed Signalscards to shopkeepers on General Cronjéstraat. The cards are intended to help victims and witnesses of robberies, shoplifting and aggressive incidents quickly record accurate descriptions of suspects, including distinguishing features.

During the presentation, a staged robbery was used to show how witnesses can recall differing details under stress. The initiative aims to make employees, customers and bystanders more aware of their role in identifying suspects.
