KPN said its fibre network had become available to six million households in the Netherlands by the end of the previous quarter, equivalent to more than 70% of households. It expanded coverage together with Glaspoort.

The connection has been extended to the meter cupboard in nearly five million households, KPN said. The company reported growing demand for fibre, including from people working from home.
