Writers Kluun and Nadja Hüpscher discussed their roles as parents and their experiences raising adolescents in a conversation with Fidan Ekiz and Ruth Oei. Both said they are still searching, make mistakes and try to adjust how they raise their children. The conversation addressed how parents can let go of teenagers while staying in contact, how to deal with unmet expectations and what parents may need to change to make conversations possible. It also considered whether parents think too much about raising children, compared with earlier generations who may have known less about adolescents but let go more readily.
