For a year, 11-year-old Joshua Lakerfield reportedly did 100 push-ups every day to raise money for research into ALS, a muscle disease affecting his friend’s father. He continued even on days when he had little energy, saying he wanted to do something for him. Joshua had seen the man’s muscles deteriorate and found it very sad.
