During the opening of Jordan’s new parliamentary year on Monday, King Abdullah of Jordan requested a moment of silence for the victims of a recent attack in the village of Hammoud. The account also said that a Tunisian prince spoke forcefully against terrorists. Abdullah said terrorists had no place in Jordan’s national family and had betrayed it.
