Joop Beumer, 84, is reported to be ending his 70-year career in hairdressing. His barbershop De Oude Post in De Steeg, opened by his father Hendrik in 1925, will close, and Beumer will also stop selling tobacco. He would prefer to continue cutting hair and said he enjoyed spending time with people.
