Joep and Simone Slegers, both 57-year-old ice cream sellers, have reportedly become the owners of three buildings on the Markt in Oosterhout, opposite the basilica. The properties are numbers 4, 5 and 6, which house a roofing salon, a large men’s clothing store and the ViaVia ice cream parlour. Their ownership is said to stem from the will of neighbors, and they reportedly have not yet fully taken it in.
