Jennifer Tosch, founder of Black Heritage Tours and the Sites of Memory Foundation, was nominated for a Black Achievement Award for her work highlighting Amsterdam’s colonial history. Her work includes tours of buildings and bridges in the city, including the Willet-Holthuysen House on the Herengracht.

Thirteen people were nominated across five categories. The awards are due to be presented on Friday. Cindy The King, who won the award the previous year and chairs the Caribbean Police Network, said the recognition had affirmed her work on inclusion and anti-discrimination.
