Carlos Alcaraz won the indoor ATP tournament in Vienna, beating Australia’s Alex de Minaur 6-1, 6-4 in the final. It was the Spanish world number three’s fourth title of the season and his second since returning from a wrist injury; he had also won in Tokyo in October. Alcaraz then reached the Paris Masters quarter-finals without playing his round-of-16 match, after Italy’s Matteo Berrettini withdrew because of an arm injury.
