A sixth dog died in Schiedam after becoming ill following walks in the Beatrixpark and near Bachplein in Schiedam-Noord. The dog had not been walked in De Plantage, where five dogs had previously died after walks. A single report identified the dog as the 10-month-old puppy Macy. Police expanded their investigation into the deaths because the latest case occurred outside De Plantage. Soil testing is also being carried out in the Beatrixpark. The cause of the sixth dog's death remains unknown.
