Sisters seek answers about father’s inheritance on television

2 sources

In the first episode of a new season of the television programme Where Is My Inheritance?, Dennis van der Geest helped sisters Michelle and Monique seek information about the estate of their late father, Hans. They said he had promised shortly before his death that both would receive an inheritance, but his partner Els appeared to be the heir. One report said the sisters were also bewildered by their father’s marriage on his deathbed. The sisters tried to contact Els, whom they described as their father’s last partner, but she appeared to avoid them. When Monique visited her, police were called, according to one report. Another report said one of the sisters had been barred from her father’s funeral and was told guards would be present.
