A 50-year-old employee was injured after becoming trapped between a scissor lift and a ceiling beam at VDL Bus & Coach in Valkenswaard on Tuesday morning. One report also described a hoisting device as being involved. The victim was taken urgently to a hospital in Tilburg.

Emergency services, including firefighters, attended the site. A trauma helicopter was called but did not come to the scene. The cause of the accident and the victim’s condition remain unknown.
