Hundreds of websites were taken offline as a precaution after severe security vulnerabilities were found in the programming language PHP. The affected sites reportedly included DigiD, the Dutch House of Representatives, MijnOverheid, Mediamaand and RTL’s website. DigiD and several other websites were temporarily unreachable, while radio and television remained available.
